Sleep. If you’re a parent to young children that topic probably features heavily in your lives. Whether it’s how to crack the bedtime routine, getting kids to sleep through the night, or trying to grab some quality rest yourself, sleep is a big deal for parents. But have you ever wondered how the animal world tackles it?
I’ve recently come across this lovely infographic from Mattress Next Day ,which is full of fascinating facts on adult and infant snoozing habits in the animal kingdom. I feel less hard-done-by now I know that baby dolphins don’t sleep at all in their first month!
My children have loved exploring it with me, they love the fact that sea otters hold hands while asleep so they don’t literally drift off – so cute. Which is your favourite fact?
