I’m delighted to announce that we’re official ambassadors for this year’s Geronimo Family Festival – so exciting!
Have you heard of Geronimo already? It launched last year, and was so successful it has expanded to a second venue for 2016. Geronimo is a fantastic outdoor family festival, aimed at families with children aged 2-12 years old. It takes place at Tatton Park in Cheshire on 29-30 May, and Harewood House near Leeds on 1-2 May (both are bank holiday weekends).
There’s a huge programme of events lined up for both venues – including live shows, a circus, funfair rides, a literary zone, theatre companies, a full county fair arena, live music, stunt displays, nature activities and craft workshops. It really is an amazing selection, and with everything specifically tailored to families you know it’s all going to be age appropriate.
This year’s headline act has just been announced – none other than CBeebies superstar Justin Fletcher. In the land of kids’ entertainment it doesn’t get much bigger than Justin, does it? He’ll be performing on Sunday 1st May at Harewood House and Sunday 29th May at Tatton Park. There are lots of other CBeebies stars appearing too; take a look at the what’s on guide for more details.
We’re thrilled to be involved as festival ambassadors this year. It’s going to be a fantastic day out for the whole family and we’re already planning which acts and activities we’ll be making a beeline for. Look out for more updates on our adventures coming soon!
Day tickets to both Geronimo family festival venues cost £25, two-day tickets cost £40, and under 2’s are free of charge. Apart from food and concessions, everything is included in the ticket price – that’s all activities, workshops and entertainment. Pretty amazing value isn’t it?
